As Head of the Centre for Skill Development and Leadership, my message to younger students is simple: start building yourself before the world demands it from you. Degrees are important, but your communication, discipline, emotional intelligence, adaptability, and leadership skills are what truly shape your future. Do not wait for opportunities to come to you—prepare yourself so well that opportunities begin to seek you. Stay curious, stay humble, and never underestimate the power of consistent effort and character. The habits you develop today will define the leader you become tomorrow.
