Philanthropy and Humanitarianism Project Display
The Centre for Skills Development and Leadership (CSDL) recently hosted an impressive project exhibit featuring the innovative work of Ms. Yusra Ashraf and her second-semester Computer Science students. This event provided a platform for students to showcase their research and presentation skills across a range of themes including sports, pandemics, and literary and historical proceedings. Under Ms. Ashraf's guidance, the students explored complex topics within the broader themes of Philanthropy and Humanitarianism, Pakistan in 2050, Food and Cuisine, Pandemics through Times, and Sports and Recreation. This multidisciplinary approach allowed them to not only display their technical prowess but also engage deeply with socially relevant issues, fostering a holistic learning experience.
The exhibit was evaluated by a distinguished panel of judges, including Director of CSDL Shamaoon Shah, Head of Examination Hina Jaffery, and esteemed faculty members Ms. Farwa Hijab, Ms. Hajra Mueen, Ms. Ra’ana Zanjaani, and Ms. Mahnoor Sardar. Their assessments focused on the enhancement of the students' research and presentation skills, highlighting the educational value of the project. The students' ability to dig deep into historical avenues, raise awareness about pandemics, explore sports, and present culinary entertainment demonstrated their comprehensive skill development. This event not only underscored the importance of interdisciplinary learning but also emphasized the significance of practical experience in academic growth, preparing students to tackle real-world challenges with creativity and insight.
