CSDL Students Showcase Innovative Projects, and Fostering Critical Discussions

The second-semester students from the Department of Computer Science at the University of Lahore, under the exceptional guidance of Ms. Ra’ana Zanjaani, faculty of CSDL, recently showcased their creative and innovative projects. The exhibit covered a diverse array of themes including Entertainment, University and Student Psychology, Digital Literacy and Social Issues, Artificial Intelligence in the Education Sector, and the Survival of Youth in the Modern World. This event aimed to foster essential discussions on contemporary issues while honing students' research skills. The display highlighted the students' ability to tackle pressing matters through a combination of theoretical knowledge and practical application.

The judging panel, consisting of Director CSDL Shamaoon Shah, Competency Development Coach, Dr. Hina Jaffery, and faculty members Ms. Mahnoor Sardar, Ms. Hajra Mueen, and Ms. Yousra Ashraf, evaluated the projects with keen insight and provided valuable feedback. The event not only aimed to ignite ambition among the students but also significantly enhanced their communication skills, critical thinking, and ability to engage in meaningful discourse. Moreover, the opportunity for peer socializing and learning adaptability proved beneficial, as students exchanged ideas and learned from each other’s perspectives. Such experiences are crucial for personal and professional growth, equipping students with the skills needed to navigate and succeed in an increasingly complex world.
