Launch of Competency Development Program
The Centre for Skill Development & Leadership (CSDL) launched a pilot Competency Development Program (CDP) under Dr. Hina Jaffery’s guidance, targeting creative arts students (SOCA) to equip them with essential workplace skills. The program, customized to each field's dynamic needs, aims to foster career success, personal growth, leadership, lifelong learning, and adaptability. In its initial phase, students received training on emotional intelligence, negotiation skills, adaptability, and mindfulness. This included self-rated assessments, professional interviews, and engaging activities such as role-plays and live negotiations. The program concluded with a certification ceremony, reinforcing the importance of these competencies for future success.
